The Gaslight Anthem Reveal "American Slang"

Today, The Gaslight Anthem released the title track from their highly-anticipated third LP, American Slang. You can hear the song on the band's MySpace right now.

The song sees the band wearing the Springsteen influence a little bit more prominently on their collective sleeve. And in accordance with their name, the song sounds like quite an anthem. The hook isn't necessarily as immediate as songs like "The '59 Sound" or "High Lonesome," but it's consistent and timeless.

And yes, above is the official cover art for American Slang, out June 15th on Side One Dummy Records.

American Slang Tracklisting:
1) American Slang

5) The Queen of Lower Chelsea
